Gyeongdan: Sharing gyeongdan during LNY (Seollal), conveys wishes for family well-being, harmony, and prosperity. Its round shape represents unity, making it an ideal dish for celebrating the new year with gratitude and hope.
Ingredients: sweet rice flour, castella bread with food powders: matcha, injeolmi (roasted soybean), sesame, raspberry, black sesame and cocoa
Songpyeon: One of the significant traditional desserts consumed during Chuseok, Korea’s mid-autumn harvest festival. Family gatherings to make songpyeons were a communal activity that is rooted in Korean culture.
Ingredients: rice flour, salt, water, honey, sesame seeds, brown sugar, and sesame oil
